NBA All Star Starters Announced

Pretty outrageous K Love didn’t get a starting nod, but Blake did. It is the All-Star game though, so it’s all about what Blake brings to the game basically (we all know K Love ain’t jumpin over nobody). Hopefully him & Rubio get a reserve role.

The Western stars have two first-time starters: Clippers forward Blake Griffin and Laker center Andrew Bynum. Clipper point guard Chris Paul and Oklahoma City’s Kevin Durant round out the West’s first five.

The Eastern Conference starters: Howard, New York’s Carmelo Anthony, Miami’s Dwyane Wade and Kobe Bryant, and Chicago’s Derrick Rose.

The All-Star Game will be played at the Amway Center in Orlando on Feb. 26.

Orlando center Dwight Howard ended up receiving the most votes (1,600,390), leading the way for the Eastern Conference stars. Laker superstar Kobe Bryant got the most votes out West (1,555,479), and he tied Karl Malone , Jerry West and Shaquille O’Neal in becoming an All-Star for the 14th consecutive season.
