The duo spoke to Billboard over the weekend and stated that they were eager to do some recording this year just after releasing their latest album El Camino. Speculations exist that The Keys are working on putting together Blakroc 2, the sequel to 2009′s Black Keys/Damon Dash hip hop project. The blunt-filled trailer, which began making the rounds on the net late August, shows clips of The Keys in studio accompanied by various hip hop acts including Wiz Khalifa, Curren$y, and Jim Jones.

The Black Keys are getting ready to kick off their North American tour.
